Øresund - Healthcare Capital KS was established in 2000 as an investment consortium managed by Øresund - Healthcare Management A/S. Prior to that, the management team have been working together to help build and expand healthcare companies in the Øresund Region on the basis of capital provided case by case.

The partners and employees of the management company possess medical science and transaction skills as well as extensive expertise from the healthcare industry.

Øresund - Healthcare has an extensive network of business partners in the venture capital industry and the healthcare sector in Europe and in the US. We are - as one out of three venture capital organisations in Scandinavia - member of the EU-funded I -TEC Programme (Innovation and Technology Equity Capital), which among other things strengthen our analytical and marketdata capabilities.

On the Regional level we have a close operational and financial relationship to Malmöhus Invest AB. MIAB is one of the oldest and most experienced venture capital companies in Sweden.

The capital for Øresund Healthcare is provided by Radiometer A/S, Kirkbi A/S, Den Faberske Fond and Malmöhus Invest AB.
